Founder and CEO
Growing up with two parents working in the tourism industry, and being exposed to people from all around the world, I was introduced to lots of cultures which reflected in the way I styled my clothing and hair. I had a way of standing out, and that's how I ended up being called a "🦄 Unicorn"
I've always had a passion for fashion and colours, as a young child, I used to keep a sketchbook of fashion designs that I drew and I remember always having a dream to be a model/ fashion designer.
As I grew older I also developed a skill in colouring hair in "crazy colours".It became a side hustle for me, and with practice, trial and error, I learnt so much about the color theory and how colours work on both the artistic and scientific levels.
It didn't stop here, I loved to make things with my own hands and to "DIY ". In my senior year, I helped dye the T-shirts for my entire class graduation party, and also started doing tie-dyes for myself, scouting and reading a lot about techniques, materials, and sources ,and enrolled in workshops for tie dye.
Aside from having so many aspirations and passions, I wanted to work in what I had a passion for, to become a business owner, to make it easier for people to express themselves, and this was how "Yuricorn "started to come into fruition.
I'm not just making items with passion for people to buy, I want to help inspire everyone around me to do what they're passionate about, and to express themselves exactly how they feel in everyway possible!
